1st shift Experienced Burn Table Operator Needed in Little Canada, MN!
Monday – Friday 7am – 3pm $21.75
Must have previous Welding, Burn Table, or CNC experience. Overhead crane experience preferred!!
A Burn Table Operator performs duties necessary to cut material according to customer specifications using burn table
equipment. In addition to preparing orders according to customer specifications, a Burn Table Operator is also
responsible for the proper set-up, communication with proceeding shifts and monitoring burn table equipment.
Duties:
Loads equipment with product using the overhead crane.
Measures material before/after cutting to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
Prepares equipment to cut material by downloading or programming the computer according to customer
specifications.
Completes inspection reports after inspecting and measuring the material.
Makes adjustments to cutting process in order to comply with customers quality requirements.
Removes materials using the overhead crane from the burn table after cutting and handles it according to router
instructions.
Packages material for shipping when needed.
Performs preventive maintenance as needed including (but not limited to) wiping down torches and equipment.
Completes assigned duties in accordance with safety policies and practices with regards to individual safety, the
safety of other employees, and the safe use of equipment in the workplace.
Wears approved personal protective equipment such as safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, etc.
Performs other duties as assigned by a supervisor, lead person or management.
Requirements:
A minimum of one (1) year previous burn table work experience is preferred.
Ability to safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts.
Ability to read and understand measuring tools and equipment such as a tape measure, calipers and
micrometer.
Ability to perform math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of fractions as well as convert
fractions to decimals or vice versa.
Ability to recognize and interpret colors according to the company’s classification system.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, as well as lift and move heavier objects with the assistance of cranes,
forklifts, or another employee.
Knowledge of general shop procedures and rules including safety precautions.
Ability and willingness to cooperate with co-workers and work as part of a production team.
Completion of Drug Screen
GED or High School Diploma
Steel toed shoes

Working conditions may consist of loud noise, vibratory tools, repetitive motions, airborne particles such as metal dust
and chips and exposure to chemicals, fumes and bright light. Physical requirements include continual standing, walking,
