Job Opening: Assembler
Description
Assemblers: Performs a wide variety of functions including but not limited to assembling, transporting and packing enclosures; adjusting for assembly of engines, components or enclosures; and any other work which must be assembled, tested or handled either inside or outside the immediate assembly area. Properly utilizes all fasteners, components, materials and accessories associated with enclosure package constructed (i.e. knows torque ratings, applications, etc of all accessories). Maintains hand tools required for D-class operations such as impact sockets, plumb bob, slide square, chalk line, breaker bar, weld helmet, vice grips, striker, and a complete set of wrenches and sockets.
Welders: Uses electricity and torches to produce heat and solder together components made from steel, titanium, copper, and other metals. consults blueprints and sketches in order to execute jobs and tasks to specification. Assesses equipment, materials, and job specifications for appropriate welding positions and methods. Operates specialized machinery for industrial welding or supervises robots that do the same. Monitors work environment for hazards and maintains healthy ventilation levels to avoid particle or gas inhalation. Follows safety protocol, including wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes
Electrical:
Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles, and installs electrical conduit; effectively operates/maintains hand conduit benders and pipe threaders. Pulls wiring through conduit without damaging or chafing wires. Splices wires by stripping insulation from terminal leads, twisting or soldering wires together, and applying tape or terminal caps. Connects wiring to basic electrical components such as lighting fixtures and heaters. Performs simple installation of apparatus such as switches, receptacles, and circuit-breaker panels. Connects power cables to equipment and installs grounding leads. Learns how to test continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components with testing instruments such as multimeters.
Assemblers, Welders & Electrical workers needed. 2nd shift - 3:30 pm- 12:00 am $17.00 hr - $20.00 hr and up based on experience!
