Job Opening: Welder

Position Summary:

We are seeking skilled welders to join our manufacturing team at our solar pipe production facility in Sealy, TX. The welder will be responsible for performing high-quality welds on metal components used in solar energy systems, following precise specifications to ensure durability, safety, and compliance with production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel components used in solar pipe systems.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to ensure accurate assembly and fabrication.
• Set up welding equipment, select proper materials, and prepare parts for welding.
• Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and compliance with specifications.
• Use grinders, cutters, and other fabrication tools as needed for finishing.
• Follow all safety protocols including wearing proper PPE (steel-toe boots, safety glasses, welding shields, gloves, etc.).
• Maintain clean and organized workstations in accordance with 5S and lean manufacturing principles.
• Collaborate with production team members, supervisors, and quality control staff to meet daily production goals.
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.

Schedule & Pay:

• Monday – Friday, Saturdays as needed (sometimes mandatory)
• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM shifts available
• $20–$25/hour depending on experience
• Overtime available

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ year of welding experience (MIG/TIG highly preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Familiarity with welding safety standards and practices.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a manufacturing environment.
• Welding certifications (AWS, etc.) a plus but not required.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
