QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR

Responsibilities:

• Complete production part inspections as required

• Programming and operation of CMM and/or Romer Arm

• Complete and submit customer PPAP's

• Random internal audits

• Communicating non-conformance's and assisting the Division Manager with root cause analysis and corrective actions

• Perform gauge calibration

Job Requirements:

Requirements:

• Quality experience in a manufacturing environment
• Print reading and working understanding of GD&T
• Understanding of metrology (gauge calibration/set up)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
• Ability to work in a team environment

Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Programmer/Quality Inspector:

• Strong experience in metrology, GD&T, and PCDMIS software
• Inspect precision-cast and machined components
• Develop, test and validate CMM programs using part drawings and CAD models in software such as PC-DMIS
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and CAD files
• Minimum of 2 years experience programming and operating CMMs in a manufacturing setting
• Skilled in the use of hand inspections tools such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, etc.
