Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner by getting along with customers, clients, co-workers, supervisors, managers, and all other employees. • Responsible for adhering to and maintaining all quality system procedures and requirements related to the position. • Must adhere to all safety rules and company policies, as well as enforce the compliance and implementation of each through subordinates. • Attendance/punctuality: is consistently at work and on time; ensures that the Attendance Policy is enforced consistently through subordinates. • Has responsibility for completing all quality checks and paperwork associated with job tasks. • Setup and changeover machinery and equipment according to the priorities of the production schedule. • Installation and removal of molds in injection presses. • Setting of process parameters and process limit alarms. • Setting of equipment safety features and low pressure mold protection. • Connection of water, hydraulic and air lines. • Connection and checking of any mold protection switches. • Installation and removal of peripheral equipment (chutes, conveyors, etc.). • Ensure that the required raw materials are staged in the workstation.
