Immediate Hire

The Welder Helper will be responsible for assisting in various welding projects ensuring smooth operations of the welding process. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Pay: 19.00 per hour

Schedule: 1:30pm - 10:00pm, Monday - Friday

Associate will be responsible to assist welders in setting up welding equipment and tools. As well to operate power and hand tools to fabricate and assemble metal components.

Welder Helper Job Responsibilities

• Apprenticeship, vocational training, and/or certification, a plus
• Follow standard work instructions as assigned
• Machine set up
• Measuring, cutting, and assembling metal products
• Grinding and polishing finished products
• Follow safety guidelines, including proper use of PPE (personal protective equipment)
• Lift up to 50lbs, stand, bend, and reach
• Testing and inspection of product

• Basic MIG welding experience
• Metallurgy knowledge
• Able to read blueprints/drawings
• Able to use basic hand and power tools
• Mechanical aptitude and basic Math
• Hand eye coordination and dexterity

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
- Fabricate sheet metal products using various tools and equipment
- Cut, bend, shape, and form sheet metal to desired specifications
- Install sheet metal products such as ductwork, roofing, siding, and HVAC systems
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects

Production Associate Job Details:

• Associate will be working in a cleanroom environment manufacturing medical equipment (IV bags). 
• Production associates are cross trained in various departments that require head to toe medical gowning.
• Inspect components, materials, documents and final products either as inherent part of the production process or off line. Performs activities specified in batch record and SOP's. Sample and evaluate product per defined methods, recognizes action levels and notifies area specialist and supervisor if out of limits.
• Perform and document lot changes, line clearances, production processes and cleaning operations.
• Identify non-conforming product (rejects).
• Achieve established labor standards for the respective tasks.
• Provide information and feedback on commodity and process issues. Ensures quality products are delivered to subsequent processes.
• Work in a team environment to coordinate activities, solve problems and effectively communicate. Adapt to changes in a constructive manner. Participation in area improvements, cost reductions, and meetings. Provide information and feedback on commodity and process issues. Ensures quality products are delivered to subsequent processes.
• Adhere to cGMP guidelines, SOP's and plant policies/rules.

• Perform other related duties as assigned or required, to include working in the outside elements for material disposition.
