Shift/Schedule: M-F 6 AM to 4:40 PM

• Accurately measuring using tape measures to ensure proper fit

• Ensuring that sewing machines and other equipment are in good working order

• Constructing filters according to customers’ specifications and preferences

• Labeling customers' articles and recording the alterations required

• Sew material using Industrial Sewing Machines

• Sew to production sample, follow product guides, and observe stitching to detect defects.

• Inspect finished product for quality control.

Job Requirements:

Seamstress Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Proven sewing experience.
• Sound knowledge of various fabrics and sewing techniques.
• The ability to work under time constraints.
• The ability to safely use different types of sewing machines.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Effective communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented.

 Schedule: 2-2-3 

 Pay range: $29.80 to $33.80 D.O.E.

Essential Job Functions:

• Monitors processes using SCADA/ProVOX controls and makes changes to maintain process within desired limits.

• Troubleshoots process problems and makes corrections to bring process back into control.

• Takes process samples and performs analytical work.  Uses results to adjust process if necessary.

• Creates maintenance notifications.

• Unloads raw materials – Phosphoric Acid, Caustic Soda, KOH, Sodium Chlorate, Soda Ash and Lime.

• Makes solutions of materials and operates filtration processes.

Job Requirements:

• Three or more years of experience as a Chemical Operator in a chemical manufacturing facility.
• Previous experience utilizing and/or leading related programs.
• Working knowledge of basic chemistry for Operating Technicians, including physical knowledge of acids, bases and salts, compounds, elements, mechanical principles, gases & fluids. 
• Ability to follow the flow of liquid or material through a chemical or industrial process, including reading gauges; make accurate readings of id numbers, names and tables; measure of objects, read dials, determine differences and problem solve effectively
• Chemical Operator Certification is a plus, but not required.
