Job Opening: Warehouse Associate
Description
- Receiving and Unloading: Unload incoming trucks, containers, or railcars, inspect goods for damage, and verify packing slips against actual deliveries.
- Stocking and Organizing: Move inventory to designated shelves, racks, or bins, and keep storage areas clean and accessible.
- Order Picking and Packing: Retrieve items based on digital prompts, pick lists, or customer orders, then box, wrap, and label them for delivery.
- Loading Shipments: Load packed boxes or wrapped pallets onto outgoing delivery trucks. [
- Inventory Tracking: Use barcode scanners, handheld devices, or warehouse management software (WMS) to update stock levels and run cycle counts.
- Equipment Operation: Operate material-handling machinery such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, or forklifts (often with on-site training or certification)
