Job Opening: Furnace and Maintenance Operators Needed – Knoxville, TN

Employbridge is NOW HIRING Furnace/Maintenance Operators in Knoxville, TN. 

Pay: $18.00 – $23.00/hour, based on experience

Available Shifts

2nd Shift

• 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Monday-Friday
• Training on 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)

3rd Shift

• 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Monday-Friday
• Training on 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)

Overtime is rare but may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment including needling, die cutting, grinding, etching machines, and pallet jacks
• Perform machine setups and changeovers
• Move and stage materials throughout the production area
• Conduct quality inspections and measurements
• Accurately enter production and quality data
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues
• Complete production documentation and records
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Requirements for the role: 

• HSD/GED required 
• Comfortable working with machinery and production equipment
• Computer and data entry skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
• Ability to wear a respirator when required
