Inventory Control Technician / Cycle Counter – 1st Shift

Location: Durham, NC
Pay: $20.00/hour
Shift: Monday-Thursday | 6:00 AM-4:30 PM
Schedule: 4-day workweek

ResourceMFG is hiring an experienced Inventory Control Technician for a manufacturing facility in Durham, NC.

This is not an entry-level inventory position. Candidates must have at least 2 years of hands-on cycle counting and inventory control experience.

What You’ll Do

Perform daily cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records
Research and resolve inventory discrepancies
Reconcile physical inventory with system quantities
Identify shortages, overages, and incorrect inventory locations
Receive, organize, label, and store materials
Move materials between storage, production, and staging areas
Update inventory using ERP/WMS systems
Monitor stock levels and report inventory issues
Verify incoming and outgoing materials

What We're Looking For

Minimum 2 years of cycle counting/inventory control experience required
Strong experience investigating inventory discrepancies
Experience with ERP, WMS, or computerized inventory systems
Material handling or manufacturing inventory experience
Basic Microsoft Office skills
Strong math and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
