Job Opening: Welder – 2nd Shift

ResourceMFG is recruiting for a Welder to join our client’s Systems Manufacturing team for an assignment with the possibility of permanent placement. This role fabricates, assembles, and welds structural components for industrial irrigation systems and pump stations in a fast-paced environment.

Pay & Schedule:

Pay Rate: 24.75HR

Schedule: Monday Through Friday 2:30PM-11:00PM

Location: Tucson, AZ 

Core Responsibilities:

Execute high-quality MIG/TIG welding on steel, aluminum, and other metals from engineering drawings.

Inspect, prep, and align materials to ensure exact tolerances and structural integrity.

Evaluate welded connections for defects; troubleshoot and perform rework as needed.

Adhere strictly to company safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.

Identify process improvements to optimize quality, delivery, and throughput.

Support hands-on assembly line tasks and cross-training initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

3+ years of professional welding experience in industrial manufacturing or fabrication.

Strong proficiency reading blueprints, technical drawings, and mechanical schematics.

Active welding certification (AWS or equivalent).

Knowledge of pump stations or industrial fluid-handling systems is highly preferred.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Must be able to pass a Federal Background Check and Hair Follicle Drug Screen.
