Assembly Technician
Location: Tucson, AZ
Pay: $17.50/hr
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
We are seeking a dependable Assembly Technician to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for assembling and testing precision electronic and mechanical components while ensuring quality standards and production goals are met. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and enjoys hands-on work.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble electronic and mechanical components according to work instructions and specifications.
- Read and interpret bills of materials (BOMs), assembly procedures, and production documents.
- Inspect components and finished assemblies to verify quality standards.
- Operate hand tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
- Meet daily production goals while maintaining accuracy and quality.
- Collaborate with team members to support production schedules and process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Experience using hand tools and performing assembly-related tasks.
- Basic computer skills and ability to navigate production documents.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Reliable attendance and dependable transportation.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Soldering experience is preferred but not required.
