We are seeking motivated individuals to join our metal fabrication shop with opportunities to grow. These positions offer the opportunity to work on structural steel fabrication projects in a fast-paced shop environment. Structural Fitter/ Welder Helper

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour DOE

Experience: 1-2 Years Required

Responsibilities

Perform MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), and/or Stick (SMAW) welding.
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, schematics, and weld symbols.
Measure, mark, cut, fit, grind, and fabricate metal components.
Prepare materials and assemblies for welding and fabrication.
Inspect welds for quality, flaws, cracks, and warping.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow all safety requirements and wear required PPE at all times.

Requirements

1-2 years of welding and/or structural fitting experience.
Welding school training is a plus.
Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.
Experience working in a fabrication or structural steel shop preferred.
Must provide your own welding hood.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Operate MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), and/or Stick (SMAW) welding equipment.. Join and fabricate metal components according to specifications.. Inspect completed welds for flaws, cracks, and warping. Grind and smooth metal surfaces as needed.
