Location: Durham, NC
Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour
Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM

We are hiring Busbar Assemblers to support the production of electrical equipment in a manufacturing environment. This hands-on role involves assembling copper and aluminum busbars used to distribute electrical power within switchgear and control panels. No electrical license is required. Training is provided, making this a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with tools, following blueprints, and building quality products.

Responsibilities

Assemble copper and aluminum busbars used to carry electrical power inside panels and switchgear
Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, layouts, and work instructions
Use hand and power tools such as drills, torque wrenches, and measuring devices
Measure, align, and install components accurately according to specifications
Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality and safety standards are met
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines

Qualifications

Previous experience in construction, electrical assembly, mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or a related field preferred
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Comfortable performing hands-on, physical work in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read measurements and follow detailed instructions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable work history and strong work ethic
Willingness to learn and be trained
