Job Title: Forklift Operator (2nd Shift)

Location: Grand Ledge, MI

Shift: Afternoon Shift (5:00 PM – 3:00 AM)

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and safety-driven Forklift Operator to join our team in Grand Ledge, Michigan. This position is responsible for safely moving materials, loading and unloading trucks, and supplying production lines within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties:

• Operate sit-down forklifts to move automotive parts and materials.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound freight trailers.
• Supply staging areas and production lines with necessary components.
• Verify inventory counts, part numbers, and shipping documentation.
• Follow strict facility safety guidelines, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and PPE protocols.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience required.
• Experience working specifically within an automotive manufacturing facility required.
• Strong spatial awareness and ability to navigate tight warehouse lanes safely.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work the designated 10-hour shift schedule.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Comfortable working in a loud, active manufacturing environment.
