Forklift Operator – 1st Shift

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our team on 1st shift. This role involves operating a forklift while also assisting with general warehouse and paper processing duties. Candidates must be comfortable working in a hands-on environment and performing a variety of tasks throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to move materials throughout the facility
• Unload incoming trucks and transport materials to designated areas
• Assist with paper shredding operations
• Pull and move paper bales and bale wire as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Perform general housekeeping duties throughout the facility
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience preferred
• Valid forklift certification is a plus
• Experience operating a skid steer is preferred but not required; training available for the right candidate
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move materials throughout the shift
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Reliable attendance and positive work ethic

Additional Information

This is a Forklift Operator position; however, employees will not be operating a forklift 100% of the time. The role includes a mix of equipment operation, material handling, and general labor responsibilities.
