Machine Builder

Location: St. Paul, MN
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Machine Builder to join a growing manufacturing team in St. Paul. This position is responsible for assembling, troubleshooting, and building custom packaging machinery while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assemble packaging machinery and automated equipment according to engineering drawings and build specifications.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, pneumatic schematics, and SolidWorks models.
• Troubleshoot assembly and fitment issues during the build process.
• Work with pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical components.
• Maintain quality standards and complete required documentation.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to ensure project timelines are met.
• Assist with machine checkout, disassembly, crating, and shipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of machine building, machinery assembly, or related manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, drills, saws, grinders, and measuring equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with packaging machinery or automated equipment is a plus.
