Description
The Warehouse Operator supports daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials. This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy in transposing numbers and letters, clear penmanship, and the ability to work effectively within a team. New hires complete foundational training before operating any powered equipment. Key Responsibilities Material Handling & Order Fulfillment Receive, sort, and store incoming materials according to company procedures. Pick and pack customer orders accurately using pick lists, labels, and RF scanners. Prepare shipments, stage pallets, and assist with loading and unloading trucks. Maintain proper rotation of inventory and report discrepancies immediately. Documentation & Accuracy Accurately transpose numbers and letters when reading, writing or entering product codes. Complete logs, checklists, and inventory forms with clear, legible penmanship. Verify product counts, lot numbers, and labels to ensure order accuracy. Follow all written instructions, diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Teamwork & Communication Collaborate with coworkers, leads, and supervisors to meet daily goals. Communicate clearly about inventory issues, delays, or safety concerns. Assist team members when workload shifts or priorities change. Participate in meetings, training sessions, and continuous improvement activities.
