Job Opening: TIG Welder

6:00am-4:30pm

$20+ Based on experience 

Job Summary

The Welder position is responsible for welding using Tig on all metals including carbon steel, aluminum and stainless steel.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Safely set up and operate welding machines and other shop equipment
• Expertly weld small, medium and large various metals
• Must be able to read and comprehend blueprints
• Lay out, position, and secures parts and assemblies according to specifications using straightedge, combination square, calipers, and ruler
• Bolts, Clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding
• Inspects grooves, angles, or gap allowances, using micrometer, caliper, and precision measuring instruments
• Remove rough spots from from workpiece, using portable grinder, hand file or scraper
• Weld components in flat or vertical positions
• Check parts to ensure they are meeting the company's standards before moving to the next department
• Performs other related duties as assigned
