Job Opening: Seafood processor

ProLogistix is seeking a Food Processor to join a well-established seafood processing and cold storage facility in Burlington, WA.

• Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
• Pay: $18/hr
• Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Hire

This is a cold storage facility, and associates will work in refrigerated, sometimes wet environments. Proper cold-weather gear is provided.

*Associates must provide their own rubber boots.*

🛠? Job Duties

• Seafood processing including handling fresh and frozen crab and fish
• Lumping duties such as loading/unloading incoming and outgoing boxes
• Production line tasks including sorting, packing, weighing, and staging product
• Cold storage operations including organizing and moving inventory
• Quality and safety compliance following all food handling and facility standards
• Opportunities for skilled work such as filleting, trimming, and cutting fish for experienced candidates

?? Job Requirements

• 6 months of experience in warehouse, food processing, packing, meat cutting, or assembly line work preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to stand for long periods (typically 2 hours at a time; up to 10 hours on OT days)
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Comfortable working in cold, wet environments
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Must pass a background check and drug test
• No seafood experience required for dependable candidates with good references.
