Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Pay & Schedule
- Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Overtime: Some Saturdays as needed
Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician performs routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment and facility systems in a manufacturing/industrial environment. This role ensures safe, efficient operations by minimizing downtime and maintaining equipment reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and production equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Inspect equipment to identify issues and prevent breakdowns
- Respond to maintenance requests and complete repairs in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Assist with installation and setup of new equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Basic Qualification
- At least 1 year of maintenance or related experience
- Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an industrial environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical certification or vocational training in maintenance
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Knowledge of PLCs, hydraulics, or pneumatic systems
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs
