Job Overview
Rain Bird is seeking a temporary Computer Test Technician to support the production, troubleshooting, repair, and testing of central control systems for irrigation customers. This role involves computer build and repair, system imaging, maintaining customer databases, and assisting with printed circuit board testing. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically skilled, and comfortable working in a fast-paced service environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, image, update, and prepare central control systems for shipment
• Troubleshoot, repair, or salvage returned computers and hardware
• Maintain accurate service orders and ensure data integrity for billing
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and escalate issues as needed
• Assist with testing of repaired printed circuit boards
• Support administrative processes related to parts and service billing

Minimum Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in computer repair, assembly, or maintenance
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to follow procedures and solve problems systematically
• Team-oriented and able to work under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• Soldering or similar technical certification
• Experience with order management systems and process standards (5S, Six Sigma)
• Bilingual English/Spanish
