Job Opening: Maintenance Mechanic-3rd Shift

Skilled Maintenance Mechanic with expertise in preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, PLC, and ammonia refrigeration systems in a food manufacturing environment. Proven ability to read schematics, perform welding and pipe fitting, follow LOTO and safety procedures, and support HAZMAT operations—while working in extreme temperatures and adapting to overtime demands.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems
• Complete work orders accurately and professionally
• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
• Diagnose PLC, electrical, and mechanical failures
• Maintain ammonia refrigeration systems
• Read blueprints, schematics, P&IDs, and technical documents
• Perform ARC, TIG, and MIG welding
• Handle plumbing and pipe fitting as needed
• Participate on the HAZMAT Team
• Work in refrigerated areas (down to -20°F)
• Work overtime as required

Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• PLC knowledge
• Welding and refrigeration experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment
