Now Hiring Production/Assembly Technicians
1st and 2nd Shift, Irvine, CA

A major multinational manufacturer of thermoplastic piping systems and instrumentation, serving the microelectronics, semiconductor, water treatment, chemical processing, food and beverage, building technologies and life sciences market segment, seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a temp to perm Production/Assembly Technician.

Skill sets and qualifications include:

• Ability to read prints and dimensions
• Assembly experience (piping, frames, skids, mechanical equipment)
• Fabrication experience, (good with hand tools)
• Welding of plastics experience a plus, (hot air welding)
• Detail oriented and focused on quality, ability to follow instructions carefully, and ability to work well as part of a team
• Experience with saws, drills, presses, grinders, measuring tools, etc.
• Regularly measures and monitors quality and requests disposition of materials and/or corrective action as needed.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills must be able to understand and follow oral and written procedures, instructions. Communicate effectively with others.
• Ability to effectively work with quality control and logistics groups

Requirements:

• Experience with production and assembly
• Custom woodwork/cabinetry background a plus
• Ability to read blueprints and/or schematics.
• Ability to use hand tools and read a tape measurer.
• Performs all operations according to prescribed safety principles.
• Ability to work with and preserve confidential and proprietary information.
• Presents a professional appearance as well as presents a professional attitude with customers, distributors, vendors and other company personnel.
