Description
Inventory Coordinator is responsible for delivering parts to the assembly line, maintaining accurate inventory levels, performing SAP transactions, coordinating material flow, and ensuring all parts are ordered and available to support production schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver required parts and materials to the assembly line on time.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts through cycle counts and system updates.
- Perform part transfers, goods issues, and other SAP transactions.
- Monitor stock levels and resolve material shortages or discrepancies.
- Coordinate material flow between warehouse, suppliers, and assembly areas.
- Investigate and correct inventory inaccuracies.
- Support production teams with timely part availability.
- Track incoming shipments and verify receiving accuracy.
- Maintain clean and organized parts storage areas.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with SAP (MM or production-related modules).
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong understanding of parts flow, inventory control, and material handling.
- Ability to perform accurate data entry and maintain detailed records.
- Forklift or material handling equipment experience
- Good communication and teamwork with assembly and warehouse personnel.
- Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
