Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Actively prospect, identify, and acquire new dealers and institutional accounts through cold calling, networking, and in-person visits to grow the customer base.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with current clients, acting as a primary liaison between dealers and various auction departments.
- Sales and Negotiation: Communicate auction terms, conditions, and services clearly to buyers and sellers. Negotiate pricing, facilitate the bidding process, and maximize sales opportunities to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Customer Service: Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous service, resolving customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain expert-level knowledge of current inventory, vehicle values, market trends, and auction services (e.g., reconditioning, financing options, digital platforms) to match offerings to customer needs.
- Documentation and Reporting: Utilize CRM and auction management software to log calls, run reports, manage customer data, and maintain accurate records of sales activities and inventory.
- Sale Day Duties: Perform various sale day duties such as floor representation, assisting the auctioneer, working the “IF” (in-financing) counter, and ensuring proper vehicle representation and smooth transactions.
- Marketing Support: Distribute marketing materials and educate customers on new and existing services and online platforms to enhance customer engagement and participation

- Highly organized, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
- Proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Office and auction-specific software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred).
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to travel within a designated territory if in an outside sales role.
