Job Opening: Test Technician

Position Summary:

As an RF Device Tester at Q Microwave, you will be responsible for the tuning, performance verification, and troubleshooting of RF Filters and RF Sub-Systems (Integrated Microwave Assemblies). You will work in a fast-paced production environment, ensuring products meet stringent performance standards for military and defense applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct full acceptance testing of RF filters and sub-systems using established procedures.
• Operate and maintain RF test equipment including:
• Oscilloscopes
• Spectrum analyzers
• Digital multimeters (DMMs)
• Network analyzers
• Signal generators
• Automated test systems
• Troubleshoot and tune RF devices to meet performance specifications.
• Assist and mentor junior technicians in testing and troubleshooting.
• Review and update test procedures and documentation.
• Interpret schematics, assembly drawings, engineering change orders, and rework instructions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams for new product implementation and resolving design issues.

Qualifications:

• Education & Experience:
• High School Diploma with 1+ years of relevant experience, 
• Equivalent military electronics training.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of basic electronic theory.
• Proficiency in using RF test equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office Suite.
• Security Clearance: ITAR facility
