Job Title: Production Technician – 1st and 2nd Shift

Location: Arden Hills, MN

Pay Range: $18.00 – $19.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday, 6:00am-2:45PM
• Monday – Friday, 2:45 PM – 10:30 PM (2nd Shift)
• Training Period: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:45 PM (1st Shift) until tasks can be performed independently

Position Summary

The Production Technician is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations by performing a variety of production tasks in a safe and efficient manner. This position requires a self-motivated individual capable of working with minimal supervision while maintaining focus, accuracy, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform production activities in accordance with safety guidelines, including the use of dust masks, ear protection, and protective eyewear.
• Operate production equipment and handle materials in compliance with company standards.
• Conduct basic mechanical tasks and support production processes as needed.
• Complete basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
• Enter and track information using Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Safely lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Operate a forklift as needed (experience preferred).
• Maintain work area cleanliness and adhere to facility rules, including non-smoking requirements.
• Work efficiently at a fast pace with repetitive tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
• Follow all safety requirements regarding the use of protective equipment and personal grooming (e.g., proper mask fit).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Prior production or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of mechanical functions.
• Strong mathematical skills with ability to perform accurate calculations.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Forklift experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and stay on task with minimal supervision.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently throughout the shift.
• Ability to work at a fast pace in a repetitive environment.

Work Environment

• Production environment involves handling dusty materials; proper PPE is required at all times.
• Hearing protection, protective eyewear, and dust masks are mandatory.
• Facility is non-smoking; smoking is prohibited on premises and within 25 feet of the building.
