Job Opening: Press Brake Operator

1st Shift Opportunity available in Bay City, MI!

The Press Brake Operator at this manufacturing company is responsible for operating press brakes to bend and form sheet metal as specified by blueprints, programs, layouts and work instructions.

Essential Duties:

• Set up and run complex bend and forming operations on Cincinnati and Amada Press Brakes
• The ability to know which tooling combination to use in order to obtain the required dimensions on a sheet metal part.
• Keep equipment operational by completing preventative maintenance.
• Use other manufacturing equipment and machines as needed, such as rolls, overhead cranes, Whitney , Pem Machine and various hand tools Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Comply with relevant Quality and Safety programs.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• 1 - 3 Years of experience with Press Brake 
• Must read and understand blueprints and specifications to complete tasks independently.
• Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner 
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. with frequent bending, stooping and twisting
• Should be good with mathematics and be able to use a tape measure, rule and square.
• Should be diligent about producing a quality product and take pride in work.
