Job Opening: Welder

Shift: Afternoon shift, Monday – Friday 3:00PM-1:30AM

Pay: $19.00 – 23.00 per hour

Welders Needed in Union City, MI!

A manufacturing facility in Union City, MI is looking for welders to join their team. This is a full-time position with a 90-day hire-in process. Once hired in, you will be eligible for quarterly bonuses, paid holidays, safety gear allowances, paid sick time, paid vacations, and more! 

Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on a variety of metals including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.

• Measure, cut, and fit materials to specifications using power tools and measuring devices.

• Inspect completed welds for accuracy, strength, and quality standards.

• Set up and maintain welding machines and tools.

• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a MIG Welder or similar welding role.

• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

• Knowledge of welding safety procedures and equipment maintenance.

• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

• Welding certification is a plus but not required.
