ResourceMFG NOW Hiring Gage Lab Technicians
Hours and Pay:
3rd shift: Sunday-Thursday, 10:30pm-7am
Friday-Sunday 6:30AM-7:00PM
Friday-Sunday 6:30PM-7:00AM
This position is responsible for:
- Checking, adjusting, calibrating, certification and repair of
precision measuring instruments. - Laps, adjusts and repairs gages to restore accuracy.
- Close involvement with the certification of Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM),
Super Micrometers, surface plates and allied equipment. - Makes repairs and/or arranges for the repairs with outside suppliers.
- Closely involved with the ISO9001 process and the Corporate Gage System to maintain accurate records.
- When the incumbent is deemed to be fully qualified, he/she will be empowered to train new or fellow employees on the
technical aspects of this position

Requirements:
- RESUME REQUIRED
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent
- Hand-on experience with gage checking, repair and certification.
- CNC machining background, ability to interpret part features to gage readings and gage
readings to gage features. - Knowledge and use of surface plate layout and the ability to perform trigonometric calculations to determine dimensions that are not called out on the print.
- Certification requires precision measurement in Metric and English standards.
- Repair and troubleshooting require mechanical aptitude and ability.
- Good communication skills are essential to performing this job function.
- Above average keyboard skills and knowledge of Caterpillar computer systems (GageIt, and other PC
software) will be very helpful. - Must be able to work in a team environment, receptive to change and have good organizational skills.
