Manual HBM Machinist needed in Pasadena!

7-10 years of previous experience in machining critical parts. Experience setting up and operating Horizontal Bore Mill (HBM)/manual. Experienced in the operations of overhung Pumps and horizontal pump head columns. Basic math, knowledge of the proper use of measuring tools/gauges and cutting tools. Understanding of blueprints and routers. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Able to machine multi-stage pump cases in a manual horizontal boring mill (HBM). Able to machine various pump components in a vertical turret lathe (VTL). Use blueprint, bills of material, shop orders, or sample parts to machine parts by determining dimensions and tolerances of finished pieces, operation sequences, and setup requirements.

Pay Rate = Upper 40’s possibly even $50/hr for the right person.
