Job Opening: Maintenance Technician

Overall Responsibilities:
The list below highlights the essential job responsibilities but is not exhaustive.
- Performs maintenance and troubleshoots equipment as needed following proper LOTO procedures.
- Performs PLC troubleshooting and programming
- Demonstrates electrical troubleshooting and repairs such as motor starters, relays, and start/stop circuits
- Performs established PM procedures on machinery, equipment, and fire pumps.
- Repairs and rebuilds hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components.
- Ability to work with electronic work order and PM system
- Troubleshoot and diagnose AC and DC drives
- Troubleshoots and diagnose HVAC equipment.
- Maintains good housekeeping in the maintenance shop and follows 5S system.
- Must have knowledge and demonstrate troubleshooting and repairs of transformers on AC and DC circuits, step up, step down, and isolation transformers
- Maintain mechanical and electrical operations for all plant processes
- Must have three phase electrical and industrial environment experience
- Demonstrates a willingness to help coach and train other team members and coworkers as needed
Qualifications, Skills, Competencies:
- Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting, electrical troubleshooting, motor starters, relays, and start/stop circuits
- Must be Mechanically proficient in industrial maintenance
- Ability to perform tasks requiring critical thinking
- Ability to use volt and amp meters correctly for troubleshooting
- Ability to prioritize equipment issues and problems
- Communication, professionalism, and time management skills
- Safe work habits & methods
Education/Experience:
- Associate’s degree or 5 years equivalent experience in industrial maintenance
- Focus on Electrical Technology a plus
- LOTO and Arc Flash training a plus
