Job Description:

• Ensure paper or raw materials (inks, glues, etc.) are loaded into feeders, hoppers, bins, etc. to supply a constant flow of materials while the equipment is running.
• Make adjustments to equipment such as feeder mechanism based on the size of the paper.
• Deliver equipment components such as plates or spray heads to the equipment for installation.
• Provide basic assistance as needed to make-ready the equipment for operation. Assist with retrieving plates, hanging plates and recycling/storing plates and other tasks associated with make-ready of the plates.
• Requires basic knowledge of presswork procedures and materials learned through on the job training.
• Ability to follow instructions to assist in press set up, operation and maintenance. Able to operate hand carts, pallet jacks, stackers, and hydraulic feed mechanisms. Qualifications
• Requires thorough knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials and specifications, equipment, and safety requirements and skills to perform assignments

Schedule: Monday-Friday 11 pm – 7 am 

Qualifications Required:

As a press brake operator you would be responsible reading, understandings specifications, preforming basic periodic maintenance and printing. 

• Skill to read and understand job specifications and knowledge of press capabilities to determine the most appropriate press usage, press settings and materials needed to run the job successfully
• Skill to make a variety of difficult precise settings of controls, settings, and adjustments, and to perform routine operational maintenance of equipment
• Skill in routine operational maintenance and minor repairs to equipment Knowledge of the appropriate amount of packing pressure needed to obtain the proper printing pressure for the type of job being run
• Use of micrometer to mount and align the printing plate correctly
