Key Responsibilities: • Maintain and update employee records in compliance with company policy and California labor regulations • Support recruitment efforts: post job openings, review resumes, and coordinate interviews • Assist with onboarding and orientation, ensuring completion of required documents (e.g., Wage Theft Notice, Harassment Prevention Training) • Track and process employee leaves, including CFRA, FMLA, and PDL • Provide support during benefits administration and open enrollment periods • Respond to employee inquiries on HR policies, benefits, and procedures • Maintain compliance documentation such as I-9s, OSHA records, and EEO reports • Assist in planning employee engagement activities and internal events • Provide general administrative support including filing, data entry, and document preparation • Stay current on California labor laws and HR best practices ________________________________________ Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred • 1–2 years of experience in an administrative or HR support role • Familiarity with California labor laws preferred • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HRIS platforms • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
