Production Operator/Furnace Operator Needed!

2nd shift: 3:00pm-11:00pm

Weekends Required/2 Days off in a row during the week

$18.54/HR

A growing company in the West Knox area is looking for initiative-taking Furnace Operators! Candidates must be willing to train on 1st shift (7:00am-3:30pm) and once training is complete then move to 2nd shift. This is a great opportunity with potential for growth within the company. 

• Stages, inspects, weighs, and packs products.

• Logging data and temperatures.

• Maintaining applicable paperwork and reviews for accuracy.

• Responsible and able to work independently without constant supervision.

• Must be comfortable standing/being on feet for lengthy periods of time

•Loads and unloads customer products from furnaces.

• Ability to lift/carry up to 70 pounds; ability to push/pull up to 70 pounds; good problem solving, analytical, and people skills; good oral communication skills.

• Ability to be medically cleared to wear a respirator (air supply hood) up to 5 hours/week

• Vision requirements – Must pass a near-vision exam with at least 20/25 in one eye (with or without corrective lenses) & a color vision test 

• Production manufacturing experience is required

• HSD/GED Required
