Job Opening: Print Press Operator

We are now hiring for Print Room Machine Operators with a minimum of 1 year of experience.  This position is a temp to hire night shift.  Weekends will be required as needed.

Job Title: Laser Print Operator

Position Summary: Responsible for operating the necessary machines during the Imaging/Laser printing.    Responsible for all aspects of the process from beginning of operation to finished product leaving the department.  Relies on pre-established guidelines to plan and accomplish goals (i.e. schedules posted or discussed by supervisor or manager, and productivity and efficiency standards).

Pay: $17.00

Location: Suwanee

Normal Hours: 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM but the shift is production based – Overnight

Weekends: Yes, Mandatory as needed

Essential Functions:

• Start and shut down Continuous and Laser Imaging machines
• Read, interpret and understand Print Stream for each project
• Accurately set up all necessary machines for each project
• Follow all OSHA and safety rules with the goal of an incident free workplace
• Return unused inventory back to the warehouse once job is complete with proper identification on it.
• Ensure quality workmanship at all times
• Ensure that quality pulls are performed on every project following the company guidelines
• Ensure that the machines are stocked with toner and other supplies required to fulfill job requirements.   Informing supervisor or manager prior to running out if more supplies are needed.
• Other duties assigned

Requirements:

• Ability to stand for 8-12 hours
• Prior experience as a machine operator/Preferably within a print or mailing company
• Provide a updated resume with required skills
