Safety has always come first at EmployBridge. Today, as we come together to limit the impact of the coronavirus known as COVID-19, we remain committed to ensuring the safety of our people and partners and the safe, continuous operation of our nation’s businesses and logistical supply chain.
Our business continuity taskforce and life safety teams are closely monitoring updates from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and from federal, state and local authorities. EmployBridge has implemented a range of policies and procedures to protect the safety, well-being and workplaces of our people and partners.
- Across all branch and client locations, we are requiring social distancing along with frequent and thorough handwashing using the “20-second” rule. We are also making hand sanitizer available and requiring regular cleaning and disinfecting of all hard surfaces.
- Our branch operations are almost entirely virtual, with branch staff empowered to work remotely from their homes where possible to ensure ongoing client support and business continuity.
- All EmployBridge employees and temporary associates returning to the United States from a foreign country or a cruise in the past two weeks are not allowed to return to work until fourteen days have passed since their return to the United States. If an EmployBridge employee or temporary associate has been in close contact with someone who has been out of the country or on a cruise in the last fourteen days, they will be asked to take off work for fourteen days from their last contact with that person.
- In addition, none of our people will be allowed to report for work if they are feeling ill or have an elevated fever of more than 100 degrees.
- In cases where the two rules above may not align with existing client attendance guidelines, we are asking our clients to accept these temporary measures to protect the health, safety and welfare of our people, partners and communities until the situation has abated.
- We continue to work with our client partners to take all available measures to protect the health and safety of our temporary associates, our clients’ workers and related family members while ensuring the safe and reliable continuance of all client business operations.

Our Insurance Companies Respond to COVID-19
Some of our insurance companies are providing extra benefits to help everyone during the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Associates’ Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is available to all associates, even if they don’t have insurance from us. They should call 800-999-7222 and say that they work for EmployBridge. EAP can help with stress management, drug dependency, depression, workplace, legal or financial concerns.
- Telemedicine – virtual office visits give you 24/7 access to a doctor through the convenience of your phone or computer for nonemergency medical conditions (e.g., cold, flu, allergies, bronchitis or pink eye).
- If the associate is enrolled in Cigna’s Core Plan, a virtual office visit is free. With the Cigna Value Plan, there is a $55 co-pay for a virtual office visit. They need to register in advance at www.MDLIVEforCigna.com or www.AmwellforCigna.com.
- If the associate is enrolled in Anthem insurance, there is a co-pay of $59 or less for a virtual office visit. They should go to https://startlivehealthonline.com/ or call the number on their Anthem ID card.
- If the associate is enrolled in the American Worker Basic, Advantage Plus or Enhanced Plus medical plan, there is no cost for a virtual office visit. The program is through Teladoc, and they should go to www.Teladoc.com or call 1-800-Teladoc to get started.
- For all other associates, we do not offer a telemedicine program. However, we recommend they go to www.teladoc.com for a virtual office visit. We use Teladoc for our American Worker plans and have found them to do an excellent job.
