    This position for 1st shift is  generally 5:00am-1:30pm (some overtime may be required)

    This position for 2nd shift is generally 2:30pm-11:00pm (some overtime may be required)

    Both shifts are scheduled Monday through Friday.

    Pay will be 28-35 Depending on your experience.

    Essential Responsibilities

    • Set up machines on the production department.
    • May operate two or more machines at one time.
    • Work from blueprints, plans methods and sequences of machining to produce parts complete as needed to conform to specifications.
    • Inspects own work per drawing requirements.

    Position Requirements

    • Have a minimum of 3 years of CNC Machine Set Up experience.
    • Minimum 2-4 year’s machine shop experience as an operator Must be able to operate a mill CNC   Machine or CNC Lathe Machine.
    • Must be able to make a variety of parts working from blueprints, job specifications, hand drawn sketches and/or verbal instructions.
    • Must be capable of working within tolerances of .0002” in a high-pressure, fast-paced, quality-oriented environment.
    • Must be able to perform standard shop computations (applying geometry and trigonometry) relating to angular and linear dimensions of work, tooling, and speeds and feeds of machining.
    • Must have own basic tools such as calipers, 0 - 3” micrometers and dial indicators.

    Duties include:

    • Examine incoming and outgoing shipment contents with pick list, pack list, and bill of lading to verify accuracy.

      Prepare and verify all items for shipment, determine appropriate shipping container, pack items to ensure protection. 

      Generate pack list, bill of lading, and labels as necessary for shipment in accordance with customer specifications and/or internal support team. 

      Contact carriers and couriers to arrange for shipment pickups. 

      Safely operates forklift and other equipment as necessary.

      Maintain loading dock in good order, including all necessary supplies, labels, equipment and materials.

      Examine incoming and outgoing shipments, records shortages, rejects damaged items, and corresponds with internal support to rectify shortages and damages. 

      Unpacks and verifies the condition, count and documentation of items received with the purchase order number. 

      Assembles wooden or cardboard containers. 

    Desired Skills & Experience:

    High School Diploma or equivalent.

    Minimum of 4 years of shipping and receiving

    Familiar with international/custom shipping and receiving standards a plus.

    Proficient in Microsoft suite & PC skills.

    Knowledge of couriers including UPS Worldship. 

    Must have excellent organization, verbal and written communication.

    Duties include:

    Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
    Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
    Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
    Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and mate
    (e.g. pens, forms, and brochures)
    Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
    Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
    Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the
    reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
    Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
    Maintains company Calendar of events so that everyone has visibility on what is going
    on in the building, who the guests are and where they are. (The receptionist needs to
    know this, not only for safety reasons, but in order to plan space for people to sit and
    meet)


    Order lunches for guests and customers, set up lunch in conference room, lunch room
    or other venue. Clean up after lunch is completed. May require pickup from restaurant
    Picking up drawings for Engineering at local printer.
    Distributing PPE for new hires, guests and visitors.
    Keep updated records of office expenses and costs.

    Duties include:

    • Reports directly to the NDT Lead.
    • Work in conjunction with other NDT team members.
    • Responsible for the daily setup, and use of Eddy Current NDT equipment including calibration.
    • Conduct, Interpret, evaluate and document results of verification tests to ensure system performance.
    • Create and maintain tech sheets.
    • Perform Eddy Current inspection of landing gear and hydraulic components in accordance with FAA, industry NADCAP, customer and regulatory requirements.
    • Responsible for the inventory of NDT materials used.
    • Responsible for pre-post wash stations including testing.
    • Assist Quality and the responsible level III in the development and maintenance of Eddy Current procedures.

    Knowledge of skills and requirements

    • Must be detail oriented.
    • Strong Safety orientation.
    • Capable of moving unaided throughout the facility and lifting at least 50 lb.
    • Must be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the method in which certified.

    • Fabrication of bushings, bearings and tooling.
    • Grinding of Aerospace Parts.
    • May run one or more machines on a regular basis.
    • Each machinist is responsible for ensuring that machine work dimensions tolerances as noted on shop planning and that defects are removed within specified limits.
    • To inspect parts visually and dimensionally, and perform clean-up operations as required such as deburr and breaking of edges.

    Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

    • Detail Oriented.
    • Ability to read and understand OHM/CMM's, blueprints, shop travelers and sketches.
    • Ability to identify different plated surfaces such as chrome plate, cad plate and various thermal sprayed surfaces.
    • Must be able to perform measurements using inspection tools such as, but not limited too; micrometers, dial bore gauges, telescope gauges, height gauges, and indicators.
    • General Knowledge of set-up, loading and adjusting machines and equipment.
    • Practical experience with procedures, practices, inspection methods, materials, tools and equipment generally used in the work for which the repair station is rated.

    Pay will be up to 33 P/H depending on the experience

    Schedule: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

    Monday - Friday

    Duties include:

    Produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies

    Must have knowledge of machining technology, machining and mechanical principles, high level degree of skills and technique. 

    Determines cutting tools to be used, method of holding, and machine speeds and feeds for different materials such as stainless steels, aluminum, brass and micarta (fiber type), drilling, boring, reaming, tapping, and profiling shapes as required.

    Maintains specifications by observing machining process and operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.

    Select tools appropriate tools, machines, and materials to be used in preparation of machinery work

    Performs set-ups, tool change, resetting of tool offsets, and edit minor CNC programs, when necessary.

    Confirm with numerical control programmers in order to check and ensure that the new programs or machinery will function properly, and that output will meet specifications

    Reports major discrepancies to Lead or Supervisor.

    Study sample parts, drawings, and engineering information in order to determine methods and sequences of operations needed to fabricate products, and determine product dimensions and tolerances.

    Under supervision, interprets programs to determine of sequence of operations and set-up requirements.

    Dis-mantles set-ups and returns tools and fixtures to proper location upon completion of manufacturing runs

    Reads blueprints - determines set-up procedure, modifications in the operation of precision grinding machines to produce machine parts according to blueprints, router package, specifications and/or special instruction

    Must be able to use a wide variety of precision measuring equipment to inspect own work and validate drawing features for compliance. Deburr and clean parts as required

    Must be able to hold tight tolerances on machined parts.

    Performs general and preventative maintenance on equipment, this includes cleaning, lubricating machines and cleaning and organizing the work areas (5s).

    Knowledge of safety practices and procedures when using machines.

    Desired Skills & Experience:

    Requires a high school diploma or GED

    Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a machine shop environment or equivalent.

    Familiar with ISO 9001.
