    In this Customer Service role, you will provide effective customer service for all internal and external customers by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as team members within the organization.

    Customer Service Job Duties:

    • Interacts with customers to establish ongoing value-added relationships
    • Manages all aspects of customer relationships from quotation through payment of invoices
    • Works with branch customers to solve payment issues to lower branch DSO
    • Become a reliable resource to customers and co-workers on sales order status and information
    • Show initiative by identifying and analyzing problems and proposing acceptable solutions
    • Receives sales calls, quotation requests, faxes, mail, EDI, email, and will-call orders
    • Provides inventory and pricing information - Coordinate with outside sales, purchasing, billing, management, and warehouse customer issues
    • Enters or processes delivery ticket/shop orders
    • Produce and negotiate customer quotations and proposals
    • Contacts customers concerning late payments, invoicing issues, and other issues involving credit and receivable items for branch assigned accounts. Reports collection status to AR and management
    • Occasionally attends client visits with sales representatives
    • Informs and complies with company return goods policy
    • Assists outside sales in order processing and customer services
    • Quote follow-up and track lost sales reports as well as expediting all customer inquiries and orders
    • Arrange direct and/or hot shot deliveries to correct customer problems
    • Process credit card transactions
    • Assist in physical inventory
    • Assist will call customers in placing orders
    • Participate in special projects as requested by management.

  • Production Packer - 3rd shift

    ResourceMFG has an immediate temp to hire opening for a 3rd shift Production Packer in Kent.  Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year experience in food production packing. 

    Pay starts at $18.50/hr

    2nd shift - 5 pm - 5 am

    As the Production Packer, you will be responsible for monitoring that quality standards for Packaging are consistently met, the line meets schedule attainment and line efficiency standards, the mechanical operations run smoothly.

    • Packer 3 is responsible for documenting production runs by filling out Inventory Control Paperwork.
    • Understands how to read and understand the 1st Article process.
    • Track all item/lot numbers ensuring all traceability is within regulatory standards.

    Inventory Control Clerk (Warehouse) Duties: 

    • Responsible for entering all FG’s into QAD as well as labeling and DO shipping
    • Researches and makes adjustments relating to manufacturing inventory issues, WIP or Packaging.
    • Coordinates with manufacturing on inventory control for the work center variances
    • Enters warehouse transfers and checks for discrepancies in figures
    • Coordinates with distribution on daily issues that may be affecting finished goods inventory
    • Provides administrative support to the packaging supervisor, including but not limited to label generation, QAD administrative support, data analysis, etc.
    • Insure proper packaging by identifying and rejecting inferior packages (those with wrinkled seals or product caught in seals, etc.)
    • Maintain accurate packaging of product by applying appropriate labels; placing correct number of product in appropriate box.
