    Warehouse Manager Job Duties:

    • Responsible for ensuring proper operations are in order to ship and receive products at the Warehouse (HQ) in a productive and cost-efficient manner

    • Direct the day-to day activities of the warehouse/Office. Such activities include shipping, receiving, maintenance, inventory control, etc.

    • Maintaining shipping deadline on a daily basis

    • Responsible for the warehouse as it pertains to receiving errors, and returned products

    • Ensure that the warehouse personnel have safe, efficient equipment in order to perform the distribution functions

    • Maintains physical condition of warehouse while safeguarding warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.

    • Controls inventory levels (including maximums and minimums) by conducting physical counts, processing all shipments (packing list preparation and control) and receiving goods into the warehouse while properly reconciling with Inventory Software.

    • Properly report monthly, quarterly and year-end inventory to Operations for submission to Finance.

    • Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; and following up on work results.

    • Maintains warehouse staff by orienting and training employees

    • Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

    • Managing inventory software and coordinating with suppliers as needed to place PO for inventory restocking

    • Handle general employee inquiries and solves problems

    • Monitor the flow of paperwork from Receiving to Accounting Department for timely data entry

    • Resolve discrepancies with shipping, invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports

    • Ensure warehouse space is fully utilized for new products and containers.

    specifications or types and thicknesses of metals.
    • Ignite torches or start power supplies and strike arcs by touching electrodes to metals
    being welded, completing electrical circuits.
    • Cut, contour, and bevel metal plates and structural shapes to dimensions as specified by
    blueprints, layouts, work orders, and templates, using powered saws, hand shears, or
    chipping knives.
    • Dismantle metal assemblies or cut scrap metal, using thermal-cutting equipment, such as
    flame-cutting torches or plasma-arc equipment.
    • Signal crane operators to move large workpieces.
    • Mark or tag material with proper job number, piece marks, and other identifying marks as
    required.
    • Chip or grind off excess weld, slag, or spatter, using hand scrapers or power chippers,
    portable grinders, or arc-cutting equipment.
    • Remove rough spots from workpieces, using portable grinders, hand files, or scrapers.
    • Prepare all material surfaces to be welded, ensuring that there is no loose or thick scale,
    slag, rust, moisture, grease, or other foreign matter.
