Large hydraulic machine supply facility in West Valley is needing an experienced warehouse associate to assist with shipping, receiving, material handling, and forklift operation. Come work in a small team environment with great benefits like medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Shift  8am-6pm Monday-Friday Plus overtime 

Pay $19.00-$20.00 per hour based on experience

Daily Activities

  • Verify incoming/outgoing shipments, regularly lift and stack cases of merchandise, expedite shipment from receiving area and stock merchandise in designated area
  • Locate, verify, select, count, and insert merchandise into containers for shipment, stage for pick-up
  • Familiar with RF Scanner
  • Some Forklift Operating may be required
  • Other general warehouse duties as directed

Job Requirements:

  • A comprehensive understanding of the receiving, stocking, order pulling and shipping functions of a distribution warehouse
  • Experience with electronic manifesting systems.  UPS Worldship, FedEx, Pitney Bowes, etc.
  • Experience shipping on LTL freight carriers:  packaging requirements, manifesting, scheduling pick ups, damage reporting 
  • Able to lift 50 pounds on a consistent basis
  • Steel Toe boots
  • Able to work in cold and/or warm environments

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 12 months relevant TIG welding experience
  • Metallurgy knowledge
  • Able to read blueprints/drawings
  • Able to use basic hand and power tools
  • Mechanical aptitude and basic Math
  • Hand eye coordination and dexterity
  • Attention to detail

Job Responsibilities

  • Experience on forklift and powered industrial equipment, a plus
  • Apprenticeship, vocational training, and/or certification, a plus
  • Robotic welding experience, a plus
  • Follow standard work instructions as assigned
  • Machine set up
  • Measuring, cutting, and assembling metal products
  • Electric arc and tungsten inert gas experience
  • Grinding and polishing finished products
  • Follow safety guidelines, including proper use of PPE (personal protective equipment)
  • Work in a team environment
  • Perform hands-on tasks
  • Lift up to 50lbs, stand, bend, and reach
  • Maintain clean and organized workspace
  • Troubleshoot issues
  • Meet production standards
  • Accurate recordkeeping and inventory documentation
  • Testing and inspection of product
