  • Machine Operator

    Location: Reno, NV Base Pay: 16.75 per HOUR

    3rd Shift, Machine Operatior, Stead Location

    $16.75/hr

    Monday-Friday, 10:30pm to 7am 

    POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for operating equipment in accordance with procedures to ensure optimum product quality.

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties as assigned) • General understanding of the manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements and departmental procedures. • May operate equipment such as, but not limited to, the Pre-Expander, Mold, Lamination Line, Block – Auto Line, etc. • Verify equipment set-up prior to start of a production run, operates and shuts down manufacturing equipment. • Verifies order information and produces part(s) with the correct material, density, weight, size, and/or shape within quality tolerance to meet specific job requirements while meeting productivity standards. • Monitors equipment and reports malfunctions to supervisor; assist with routine cleaning. • Troubleshoot and make adjustments to equipment settings • Responsible for training new employees • Maintains proper work logs and completes required reports as necessary. • Bundles, wraps, stacks, packs, assembles and/or labels materials per specific production instructions. • Maintains a clean and organized work area. • Performs any other functions and responsibilities as assigned. • Must be trained and familiar with general safety. • Must be trained and familiar with Quality System Awareness. • Must be verified by supervisor to be able to sign off on procedures needed to fulfill job requirements within 2 months of hire. • Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance is required.

  • 2nd Shift- Equipment Operator

    Location: Reno, NV Base Pay: 16.50 per HOUR

    2nd Shift, Equipment Operator, Stead Location

    $16.50/hr

    Monday thru Friday, 2:30pm to 11pm (Must be able to work 1 week on day shift for traning) 

    POSITION SUMMARY

    Operates forklift to move EPS blocks/material throughout the facility.
    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties as assigned)
    • Works with Production Manager to develop a schedule that meets production needs.
    • General understanding of the manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment, operations, safety requirements and departmental procedures.
    • Move EPS Products
    o Transfer blocks from molding area to proper storage area.
    o Transfer molded shape parts throughout the facility.
    o Transfer blocks from storage area to cutting lines.
    ? Ensure accuracy of block type transferred to the appropriate cutting line
    • Maintains appropriate inventory of supplies and communicates with appropriate personnel to order replacement product as needed.
    • Recognize and adhere to all best practices for safety (i.e. lock out/tag out, etc.).
    • Must be able to operate forklift within the safety guidelines established by AMP and remain certified to do so.
    • Maintains a clean and organized work area.
    • Performs any other functions and responsibilities as assigned.
    • Must be trained and familiar with general safety.
    • Must be trained and familiar with Quality System Awareness.
    • Must be verified by supervisor and be signed off on procedures needed to fulfill job requirements within 2 months of hire.
    • Must be forklift operator certified within 2 months of hire.
    • Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance is required.

    Monday thru Friday, 2:30pm to 11pm (Must be able to work 1 week on day shift for training)

     

    POSITION SUMMARY

    Assist with production, inspection, packaging of product, and cleanup of scrap material.

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties as assigned)

    • Report to Manager at shift start for direction for the day.
    • General understanding of the manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements and departmental procedures.
    • Inspect and package parts according to specification pages and record required information on in-process sheets.
    • Bundles, wraps, stacks, packs, assemble and/or labels materials per specific production instructions.
    • Operates side-wrappers and pallet jacks.
    • Maintains a clean and organized work area.
    • Knowledge of and ability to operate Pre-breakers / Re-Grinding equipment to recycle EPS.
    • Performs any other functions and responsibilities as assigned.
    • Must be trained and familiar with general safety.
    • Must be trained and familiar with Quality System Awareness.
    • Must be verified by supervisor and be signed off on procedures needed to fulfill job requirements within 2 months of hire.
    • Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance is required.

    Looking for Sanitation Techs to clean and maintain food processing drums for a pet food manufacturer.

    Tuesday-Saturday 5am-1:30pm for $17.50 per hour

     

    Key Responsibilities:
    -Working knowledge of food safety.
    -Responsible for assisting all areas in maintaining high levels of daily cleanliness and adherence to site GMP's.
    -Prioritize work on a daily basis by identifying pressing issues, through communication with each operator, knowing shift production plans and awareness of area.
    -Promote high quality team environment through effective team work and self management with a positive attitude. -Performs all assigned activities and job tasks within their area
