Under supervision from the Inventory Control Manager, the primary responsibility of the position is to ensure inventory accuracy through the cycle counting of inventories, reporting discrepancies, and posting approved counts onsite where inventories are warehoused, consistent with good business practices.

 Must retain proper records that support the counts and maintain reports which verify the timeliness and scope of the counts. Positions will support the Inventory Control Analysts by cycle counting finished goods and componentry in order to reconcile inventory discrepancies and work order variances and assist with various other inventory transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Find, count and identify items performing ongoing daily cycle counts of materials
  • Maintain appropriate records verifying and investigating the inventory to ensure accuracy
  • Locate, pick, move, stack, restack and count inventory material
  • Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on pick lists
  • Assist Shipping & Receiving with efficiently stacking and storing items in their proper place
  • Track and summarize cycle count results
  • Communicate with Quality team if material issues and defects are noted
