    QA Tech Job Description. (Shifts - 2nd 3:00pm-11:00pm) $16-$18 Depending on experience

    2nd shift is 3 pm to 11 pm

    3rd shift is 11 pm to 7 am 

    We are looking to hire an experienced QA technician to ensure our company and customers remain compliant with industry regulations.

    • You will report directly to the QA manager and perform manual and automated tests on company products, calibrate test equipment, and ensure employees are following safety regulations.

    To ensure success as a QA technician, you should have sound knowledge of automated testing procedures, a good eye for detail, and advanced problem-solving skills.

    Ultimately, a first-rate QA technician should be able to accurately identify production irregularities and maintain a safe working environment.


    • Reviewing and revising testing procedures.
    • Conducting inspection checks on goods and production processes.
    • Performing manual and automated quality checks.
    • Ensuring employees adhere to safety and quality regulations.
    • Reporting safety and quality infringements to the QA manager.
    • Calibrating and cleaning testing equipment.
    • Advising on procedures to improve production efficiency.
    • Reporting to the quality assurance manager.

  • Assembly

    Location: Port Huron, MI Base Pay: Weekly

    • Job Summary: Team member is responsible for producing parts according to the standard work instructions and control plans within the specified cycle time while.

    Job Duties/ Responsibilities:

    • Ensure quality of the parts produced is according to the work instructions and control plans utilizing post process gauges and SPC charting as required.
    • Responsible for 5S, TPMs and housekeeping in their workplace and on the machines.
    • Actively contribute in process optimization and be able to train and support new team members on the machines and processes.
    • Participate and contribute within team meetings and plant methods.
    • Operate a manual or motorized walk behind lifting unit for material handling within their work area.
    • Move dunnage within an operation while performing assembly work.
    • Diagnose simple faults and reset manual, semi-automatic, and automatic stations.
    • Place maintenance requests when equipment is in need of maintenance.
    • Check own work using checking equipment such as CMMs, hard gauges, vision equipment, etc.
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks.
    • Perform required documented safety checks.
    • Complete teardowns generated from the assembly lines.
    • Perform error proofing/mistake proofing checks for the assembly processes.
    • Complete and maintain “end of shift” documents including but not limited to production counts, quality data, scrap tickets, etc.
    • Essential Skills and Experience: High School diploma required.
    • Must have strong manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
    • Must be quality oriented and pay attention to detail.
    • Must have good interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work in a team environment.
    • Must have the ability to work any shift – Marysville is a three (3) shift operation.
    • Must be available to work required daily and weekend overtime.
    • Preferred Skills and Experience: Previous assembly line operator experience.

    Job Description:

    The associate position operates fabricating machines such as presses, spinning machines, and forming machines to shape metal tubes. The position runs production lots, communicate with co-workers regarding production runs, and maintains a safe, organized and clean work environment

    Essential Functions:

    • Performs all assigned machine operations

    • Read job specifications such as blueprints, calipers, and measurements to determine machine adjustments and material requirements

    • Determine the appropriate equipment and methods based on requirements

    • Set up, adjust and operate machinery and equipment to fabricate parts to specifications

    • Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety

    • Ensure work is done safely, consistently and meets quality standards

    • Observes machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunctions

    • Check parts to drawing specifications and tolerance using proper measurement and inspection equipment to determine accuracy of machine operation

    • Remove burrs, sharp edges, rust or scale from work piece • Inspect end product from fabrication operation to ensure accuracy and discover flaws

    • Identify, tag and remove non-conforming materials

    • Accurately complete all required paperwork in a timely manner

    • Communicate with other departments as necessary

    • Keep work areas clean and organized

    • Adhere to all company rules and policies

    • Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor

    • The welder will weld, cut and braze metal pieces and products by using flame-cutting and hand welding equipment.

    • Basic understanding of design techniques, principles and tools necessary for the precise production of technical plans, drawings and blueprints.
    • Excellent ability to read and listen to assignments given in a variety of forms.
    • Basic understanding of mathematics as related to welding assignments
    • Must be able to pass specific weld test with full understanding of shielding gases, positions joint configurations, wire feed rates and establishing proper welding parameters.
    • 3+ years of experience
    • Must be able to read engineered blueprint drawings
    • Must be familiar with varying welding method/techniques using Flux or metal Cord wire Fabrication background preferred.
