Schedule is Sunday-Friday with OT included! 

Time 6:00am-2:30pm 

Job Responsibilities

  • Must be able to follow written procedures.
  • Perform all responsibilities following established cGMP, Food Safety, Personal Safety and Quality policies and procedures.
  • Notify supervisor of any problems with equipment.
  • Clean bakery equipment, roof, fans, ceilings, walls and floors using specific procedures as directed. 
  • Follow specific instructions to clean flour handling equipment.
  • Follow specific instructions in pest control.
  • Perform duties assigned from the Master Sanitation Program. 
  • Keep accurate records of cleaning performed. 
  • Inspect areas requiring attention. 
  • Keep manager informed of any unsanitary practices that may be occurring in the plant.
  • Performs repetitive tasks and follow instructions.
  • Job duties are varied and spread over several locations in the plant.

The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for the quality and safety of manufactured food products.

The QA Tech must ensure compliance of products with specifications and compliance of personnel with Good Manufacturing Practices ( cGMP's ). This position provides oversight and guidance to staff members to ensure the manufacturing of quality food and is responsible for identifying product that does not meet the food safety and quality requirements of the company, and preventing its distribution.

Responsibilities: 

  • Liaise with customer service and production departments to ensure projects are started, executed, and finished according to federal regulations
  • Manage point step process review, label and materials review, and QA approval of documentation control, line clearing, and process deviations
  • Ensure all staff within the facility follow cGMP requirements
  • Create manual test cases, test data, and test scripts based on project objectives
  • Perform manual and automated testing, analyzing, and recording related results
  • Review end-user notes for accuracy of implemented operations descriptions
  • Document defects with conciseness, accuracy, and details to ensure defects are not reproduced
  • Provide requested status and results throughout the facility

The focus Maintenance Mechanic Position will be to repair production equipment while being consistent with plant policies, practices and procedures. The person in this position will constantly drive to minimize overall maintenance costs.

Job Duties Include  

  • Responsible for the preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and for maintaining proper records for the same.
  • Responsible for the calibration of electrical equipment and for maintaining proper records for the same.
  • Responsible for adhering to electrical policies, practices and procedures as defined by the Plant Engineer.
  • Responsible for promoting safety awareness and keeping safety as a number one priority on a daily basis.
  • Responsible for promoting a working environment that incorporates a teamwork philosophy.
  • Responsible for the repair of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
  • Responsible for assisting the Engineering department in new equipment installation and existing equipment modifications.
  • Responsible for the basic programming of PLC’s and related equipment.
  • Responsible for coordinating with the production and converting departments, on proper time to efficiently repair and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Coordinate with and carry out the jobs assigned to the electrical department with the Plant Engineer.
  • Responsible for standby call, for equipment problems at night and weekends.

We are currently searching for a Material Processor to be based out of Downey, CA Reporting to the Bollard Plant Manager, this person will be responsible for material preparation for welding, post weld grinding/polishing, setup and operation of hand operated and automatic grinding/polishing equipment. Sheet rolling responsibilities include setup and operation of automated rolling equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system based company is a plus.

Additional Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Safely operate automated sheet rolling machine; using standard operating procedures.
  • Use of measurement tools and jigs to ensure part dimensions.
  • Safely operate hand tools for grinding and polishing; using standard operating procedures.
  • Safely operate automated polishing machine, using standard operating procedures.
  • Preparation of metal components for welding operations.
  • Post weld grinding/polishing of metal components to ensure welds are smooth and ready for powder coat or further polishing operations.
  • Complete required quality control inspections which may include a visual parts inspections to ensure quality standards are not compromised.
  • Match work orders to components and complete any required documentation.
  • Ensure quality throughout the production process while maintaining a safe, clean work environment.
  • Lifts and moves parts/product on and off work area then stages product for next operation.
  • Use various hand tools and power tools.
  • Ensure that safety devices are operative.
  • Perform minor equipment maintenance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
