    Job Requirements

    • Minimum 12 months relevant MIG welding experience
    • Attention to detail
    • Able to use basic hand and power tools
    • Basic Math
    • Mechanical aptitude
    • Able to read blueprints/drawings
    • Hand eye coordination and dexterity
    • Basic metallurgy knowledge

    Job Responsibilities

    • Experience on forklift and powered industrial equipment, a plus
    • Apprenticeship, vocational training, and/or certification, a plus
    • Robotic welding experience, a plus
    • Electric arc and inert gas experience
    • Follow standard work instructions as assigned
    • Follow safety guidelines, including proper use of PPE (personal protective equipment)

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Safely moves a wide variety of parts, materials and product through the organization and documents the parts and material movement in the ERP system.
    • Kitters are responsible for gathering parts and ensuring job orders are completely kitted and ready to move to the next operation.
    • Ability to use material moving equipment such as overhead cranes, pallet jacks, forklifts and dollies to bring products and materials to an appropriate location
    • Ability to read blueprints to identify and resolve any parts shortages for jobs pulled/kitted.
    • Kit all parts ready for machine shop by work center out of saw, plasma and laser operations while grouping by like parts and common routings.
    • Kit all parts done to make sure job is ready for next operation (group separated parts and put them together by sub-assembly). 
    • Issues materials to departments in the organization upon request. This involves transacting inventory quantities to the department and delivering the parts to the work area.
    • Monitors inventory and reports quantity discrepancies to supervisor or manager.
    • Utilizes ERP system to effect inventory transactions.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Maintain and keep accurate records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
    • Makes necessary arrangements with approved freight carriers, builds skids, crates/prepare item(s) for shipment, and loads product with approved freight carriers.
    • Ability to operate in a safe and effective manner: nail guns, saws, drills, overhead crane(s) and forklifts.
    • Designs and builds wooden framed crate to protect the product while in shipment.
    • Prepare documents, such as bills of landing, customs documents, and shipping orders to route materials.
    • Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability.
    • Determine shipping method for materials, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
    • Pack, seal, label and affix postage to prepare materials for shipping. Read tape measure.
    • Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
    • Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
    • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Ability to use material moving equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts and dollies to bring products and materials to an appropriate location
    • Receives materials into the organization and verifies materials against purchase orders to ensure the accuracy of the delivery.
    • Participates in routing, counting and inspecting items while loading and unloading trucks. delivers and returns items.
    • Performs cycle counts based on the count plan from the ERP system.
    • Identifies root cause of cycle count discrepancies and recommends corrective action.
    • Monitors inventory and reports quantity discrepancies to supervisor or manager.
    • Issues materials to departments in the organization upon request. This involves transacting inventory quantities to the department and delivering the parts to the work area.
    • Other duties as requested.

    • Attention to detail
    • Able to use basic hand and power tools
    • Basic Math
    • Mechanical aptitude
    • Able to read blueprints/drawings
    • Hand eye coordination and dexterity
    • Basic computer skills
