Responsible for preparing containers for shipment in compliance with California and Federal waste regulations and maintain records associated with those shipments.

Essential Functions:
• Receive, identify, segregate, store, empty and prepare for shipment, facility related materials/waste for recycling, treatment or disposal.
• Set-up, tear down, and keep clean waste collection facilities and equipment.
• Maintain and/or repair equipment used in the performance of duties
• Coordinate shipments and deliveries with the Environmental Coordinator
• Assist in developing supply needs and maintain inventory supplies
• Maintain drum staging area in a clean and orderly manner
• Assist with other EHS Department activities as assigned
• Responsible for the safest and most efficient operation of forklifts and pallet jacks.

Requirements:
• High school graduate or GED.
• Two (2) years’ experience .materials handling preferred.
• Must have proven ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Successfully complete a basic math assessment which includes but is not limited to: addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, and percentages.
• Must have a valid California Driver’s License

  • Efficient operation of filling machines
  • Assembly / packing daily production in to saleable containers without quality defects.
  • Perform filler washouts and line equipment change overs: to include filler, capper, coder, transfer unit, tape machine, and any other equipment used on line.
  • Basic maintenance on labelers, tape machines, glue machines.
  • Prior to starting line, ensure all equipment on the line is operational, as well as product and components match scheduled production for the line.
  • Check fill, torque, and package quality in accordance with standards.
  • Trainee will work with assigned trainers to learn how to operate and maintain packaging equipment.
  • Dismantle, repair and reassemble complex equipment.
  • Complete routine paperwork as required.

QA Inspectors are responsible for performing inspections on packaged materials, and finished goods per approved methods, procedures and specifications. Incoming packaging inspectors interface with purchasing and packaging engineer and in some cases customers and vendors to resolve quality issues with incoming packaging. Finished goods inspectors interact with all levels of production management in assuring that finished goods meet required quality standards

Essential Function (Key job responsibilities for which the position is held accountable):

• Perform inspections of packaging and/ or finished goods 50 %
• Document inspections, provide dispositions on results of inspections. Issue QMR’s (questionable material report) as required. 20 %
• Collect line samples for testing and customer submission (line inspectors only). Submit samples from packaging inspections as required for development of masters, resolution of quality holds(incoming packaging inspection only) 20 %

Pay: $16.20 - $17.00

Hours:

1st shift - 7:45am - 4pm

2nd shift – 3:30pm – 12am

3rd shift – 11pm – 7am

Over time and weekends may be required.

 

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

 

Perform bulk product handling functions in the Production Department, which includes cleaning and sanitizing for all production equipment accordance to G.M.P’s.  Pull bulk products and locate to proper filling line.  Hook-up all bulk product to filling line.   Prepare bulk product and equipment in support of the Production schedule. Additional duties and responsibilities are frequently assigned by supervision.

 

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  1. Verify bulk as required for assigned filling lines.
  2. Review and maintains continuous production schedule for work assignments, by switching batches, washing and troubleshooting problems.  Verify proper paperwork and perform real-time transactions for bulk issuance.
  3. Cooperate with Production and Quality Control to accomplish schedule adherence
  4. Disassemble, clean, sanitize and reassemble pipes, pumps, tanks and filter housings.
  5. Perform manufacturing equipment cleaning, lubrication, housekeeping and sanitizing in assigned area.
  6. Utilize forklift for obtaining bulk and transporting to line.
  7. Assists in all maintenance housekeeping chores in sanitizing room and shop.
  8. Work in compliance with company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
  9. Support leadership in Quality Investigations
  10. Adheres to all GMP’s
  11. Other responsibilities as assigned.

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • A mechanical aptitude.
  • Able to work overtime on weekdays and weekends with a minimum amount of notice.
  • Able to use basic hand tools.

The Laser/TIG Welder performs daily production welding of various connectors, flange, cover and housing welds using TIG, Laser and manual spot Weld equipment. Ability to set-up, process and inspects subminiature parts.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
? Supports daily shipping agenda processing parts for welding, marking and testing
? Interprets drawings, job travelers and work instructions for set up, 1st part samples and production lot processing
? Uses Laser Marking equipment for identification serialization
? Initiates edits or updates to G code for pulse and power requirements
? Performs Helium leak testing, fine and gross leak also, documents results for record archive
? Troubleshoots weld penetration and touch-up or remedy pinholes or interruptions as required
? Uses shot peen, bead blast and fine abrasive media for rework, touch-up or blending
? Performs basic preventive maintenance check to the equipment
? Performs basic repairs to the equipment
? Coordinates monthly weld specimens for section analysis
? Supports other production department areas when necessary
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Performance to hire opportunity

 

This is working for a contract manufacturer of custom cable assemblies, wiring harnesses, and electro-mechanical sub-assemblies for defense, aerospace, and commercial customers.

 

We are looking for someone that has a minimum of two (2) years of experience working with wire harnesses and/or soldering.

 

•             Follow all written and verbal operating procedures and instructions

  •         Under minimal supervision, performs complex electro-mechanical assemblies in the form of sub-assemblies and final assembly product under a microscope

•             Ability to read and follow wire harness assembly instructions, including drawings and schematics

•             Routes, wires and assembles electronic components using wire layout boards

•             Able to use crimping and wire stripping tools

•             Conducts continuity tests of wire harnesses and cable assemblies

•             Use of a soldering iron to solder wires to switches or connectors

•             Perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-process assemblies and finished products

•             Maintain a clean and safe work area

•             Perform all work to meet quality and safety standards and procedures

•          Gather and organize all product(s) and associated documentation/records for MRB review and disposition activities

•          Perform review of reported non-conformances and propose dispositions for MRB consideration

•          Manage the flow of product in MRB through investigation and disposition process, keeping all teams informed of status

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inspects parts and assemblies to verify compliance to electromechanical requirements/specifications in

  • Inspects Printed Circuit Board assemblies in accordance with IPC-610 and/or J-STD requirements.
  • Inspects machined parts to close tolerance using calipers, micrometers, indicators, gauges, and pins.
