    Location: Suwanee, GA Base Pay: 17.00 per HOUR

    Position: Shipper Pay:$17 Hours: 2:00PM-10PM Monday to Friday occasional saturday Duties: •Work in the department as a team member to produce wire rope assemblies per manufacturing specifications to achieve or exceed the production- quality standards and goals. Access-s inventory information on computer using manufacturing software program to issue materials, print and assign work orders and direct job assignments.

    We have an immediate opening for a shipper on 2nd. shift. They will be trained on 1st shift then move to 2nd. shift when the training is complete. The starting pay will be $17 and they will primarily be responsible for picking products and palletizing products for freight shipments. The ideal candidate needs to have prior forklift experience operating on a sit down and a reach truck. We will certify them here. The following skills are a plus.

(Shift may change based on the production needs) Job Summary: This position is established to oversee daily operations in their designated area(s): Indigo, RA4, Gifts, and Large Gifts or as assigned. The position of Production Pod Lead requires an individual who is capable of exercising good judgment and communicates well with management, staff, and operators. This position works under limited supervision and must have knowledge of departmental goals, practices and procedures. Typical Duties: • Learn and operate all Pod equipment and processes • Distribute labor assignments within Pod to achieve daily goals • Follow procedures for Pod start up, cleaning, daily operation, and shut down • Ensure daily goal of 98% SLA within 48-hour delivery for all Pod and overall facility products is met without exception • Identify opportunities for improvements and participate in efforts to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs • Participate in and understand Environmental, Health and Safety program • Work to resolve quality and productivity issues; escalate to Supervisors wheneve Duties Include: Fast Paced Job Environment Great Attention to Detail Required Inspects product to ensure high quality • The ability to use repetitive hand/wrist movement • Clean warehouse production area • Feed or place items onto warehouse equipment for processing • Examines warehouse product to verify conformance to company standards • Take instructions from warehouse production line leaders or warehouse supervisors • Breaks up defective warehouse products for reprocessing Job Requirements: Must be able to read work orders in English. Must be able to work and stand throughout the 12-hour shift. Must be available for mandatory overtime. Must be available to work on the weekends.

Essential Job Responsibilities: • Maintain forklift operating efficiency by completing daily forklift inspection checklist, reporting maintenance issues to Department Manager, and making recommendations for improvements. • Verify that the quality of the product sent outbound meets customer expectations. • Verify Bill of Lading accuracy upon completion of unloading at dock and sign drivers out. • Coordinate with Department Manager on Bill of Lading discrepancies. • Maintain organized, clean, safe, and efficient areas as assigned. • Implement strategic initiatives as directed. • Assist in packaging finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling). • Perform all duties as required in the Stay Safe Injury and Illness Prevention Program. • Coordinate with all departments and personnel as needed. • Perform other job related duties as assigned.
