ResourceMFG is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead for our client located in Taylor, Michigan 

The Warehouse Team Lead position reports to the Warehouse Manager and ensures that the essential functions and procedures of the warehouse are running smoothly and efficiently. This position is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse functions such as stock maintenance, shipping and receiving, inventory, documentation and audits as well as monitoring and overseeing off-site warehouse processes. Additional functions include creating and maintaining KPI’s.They must have experience with ERP systems, and quality control inspection programs.

Job Duties:

• Responsible for ensuring warehouse has all necessary supplies, resources, and tools

• Coordination and assist in creation of all documentation including procedures

• Responsible for all special, urgent, and hot orders

• Responsible for claims, warranties, and returns are handled effectively on on-time

• Responsible for all manual stock adjustments • Responsible for organizing and tracking stock counts

• Receipt of finished products(in ERP System and physically) • Monitors and organizes process with off-site warehouse

• Manage and update inventory quantities and locations • Responsible for creation and tracking of all reporting and KPI’s

• Coordination of all continuous improvement projects

 

• Auditing of process and procedures including triple verification of select orders and receipts

Job Requirements:

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position

• Professional, reliable and able to handle stressful situations.

• Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Experience with Inventory Management / ERP Systems desired

• Be a friendly team player, that is comfortable interacting with staff and end users at all levels

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.

 Team Leadership/ Mentorship

· Strong ability to mentor/develop/coach direct reports, drive standardization and accountability for performance.

· Creates an environment that encourages active participation of all team members.

· Directly supervises corporate engineers (manufacturing or controls)

· Provide Engineering expertise to help keep projects on time and under budget.

· Drive lean concepts (OEE, Kanban, Visual Factory, TPM etc.) throughout the organization.

Team Project Management

· Supports all new launch activity.

· Drives assigned “Launch Team” to meet or exceed Piston Automotive goals for: Safety, Productivity, Quality and Continuous Improvement.

· Responsible to the development of all project specifications and timing plans, including internal resource planning, subcontract requirements, facility requirements, equipment and tooling needs.

· Responsible for the procurement, design, build, installation and debug of all Production Process Equipment, that are facilitated by corporate lead initiatives, through SOP.

· Supports program meetings (both internally and with the Customer) as required and/or requested.

· Supports Engineers with communication and issue resolution internally, with customers and with vendors.

· Assist in evaluation of new suppliers, products and technologies to help maintain a competitive edge in the industry.

· Supports development of annual and project-based Capital Expenditure Budgets and drive adherence to performance.

· Review and approve Process Documentation through SOP. This includes Process Flow, Cycle Time Analysis, PFMEA and Work Instructions.

· Provide support and guidance to Plant Engineering and Maintenance Teams as required.

Team Performance Management

· Champions “Launch Team” gate deliverables.

· Ensures all established project delivery commitments are met.

· Performs administrative activities associated with the effective management of the “Launch Team”, including holding standing meetings, managing and prioritization of open issues, tracking timing and progress of each individual.

· Responsible for “Launch Team” performance management process, including annual performance reviews for assigned engineer

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Directly supervises the assigned Team. Works closely with the Functional Director to ensure all projects and resources are closely coordinated within the Engineering Department.

SUPERVISORY & PROJECT EXPECTATIONS:

 This position is a balance of project workload based on your department or functional job description and supervision. Based on project workload and assigned resources; the level of individual contribution to project responsibilities and supervisory duties will be managed on an ongoing basis.

 · Strong leadership skills, independent thinking, strong organizational and planning abilities and excellent analytical and problem solving skills are essential.

ResourceMFG is seeking a Cash Applications Specialist for a manufacturing client located in Detroit, MI. 

The Cash Applications Specialist will be responsible for posting all checks, ACH, & wire payments for a specific branch or division within the company.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Posting a very high volume of payments to customer’s accounts
  • Posting daily ACH payments
  • Posting all wires as they come in throughout the day.
  • Keep track of the checks that don’t reconcile and calling customers to get proper remit for payments.
  • Keep track of any deductions taken by the customer for collections.
  • Balancing at the end of each day.

Qualifications and Experience:
